New Puppy Class

Well, I started my new puppy class tonight. The class is for PAWS puppies only and is being taught by Ellen. She is our Field Rep in the Mid-Michigan area. We only have 3 PAWS puppies in this area right now and if you add Cisco that makes 4 dogs at class. I don't mind because they are all my friends. In attendance were: Cisco, Blossom, Honey and of course me. Since this was our first class together Ellen was checking to see how good our obedience is.

We practiced heeling, sits, downs and stays. We did figure 8 heeling patterns around the other dogs. We practiced sit and down stays with our parents walking around the room. We practiced walking up to another dog and ignoring them. I found it easier to ignore Cisco than Honey. Every time I walked up to her I would take an extra step ahead of Mommy so I could see her beautiful face.

We will have class again in 2 weeks.

Mommy and I went to Dow Gardens today. I think she is enjoying her camera a bit too much. She even made me pose in front of flowers. Overall it was a nice day. We had good weather and it wasn't too warm out. We met several nice people and we were able to tell them about PAWS and about some of my possible career options. Afterward we went home and chilled out.

August Outing

We had our August outing tonight. I got to see my Auntie Sara and some of my local friends. We practiced sit and down stays with distraction and we practiced "Leave It". I think the leave it was mostly so I wouldn't try to eat the goose poop.
I am very good at holding the ground down. I learned this from my friend Cisco.
After the outing we went to Big Boy. The people at Big Boy have always loved having us come in. I think they were especially happy to see 4 dogs come in at once.

Honey was there too. She is very pretty. I hope to see her again later this weekend.
