Camp Games

Aunt Jackie & Auntie Ellen took me camping this weekend. There were lots of dogs and lots of people and we had lots of fun. These pictures were from tic tac toe. I am the handsome boy sitting in the top corner and my buddy Cisco is the center on his way into a down. Mommy and Daddy didn't go so there are only a couple of pictures. The top picture was taken by Cooley's mom (Erica) and the other picture was taken by Aussie's Mommy (Andrea).

Aunt Ellen gave Mommy a brief run-down of my behavior over the weekend. She said I was perfect and wonderful and good all weekend. She said that there were several offers to take me. I had to behave because Aunt Ellen is my Supervisor for PAWS. Mommy said that since there was a good report I could come home (as if she could resist my boyish good looks and charming personality).

Starting October 3rd I will be spending a week with Grandma Pat. Depending on the weather Mommy has said that she will try to get some updated pictures of me before I go.

Aunt Jane's Party

Sunday was a fabulous day for me. I got to spent time with my Aunt Jane. Mommy and some of our PAWS friends threw a party for Aunt Jane to help her celebrate the start of her new life. She has been having a rough time lately and there is no better way to cheer her up other than surrounding her with cute puppies like me. There were about 11 dogs at the party. Aunt Janey seemed very happy. :)

Aunt Sandi brought a beautiful cake to help us celebrate the day. From what I hear the cake was pretty fantastic. I was drooling over it but didn't get to have any.

Here are two more of the pictures from the party that I was in. I showed Aunt Janey what a wonderful snuggler I am. The other picture is Cooley, Mousse, Me and Blossom with Aunt Janey. I have included links to some of the other pictures from the party.

Forgiven

Confession time... I did my first really bad thing as a puppy. Here's what happened:

It was Thursday evening around 11pm and Mommy sent us out to go to the bathroom one last time before bed. This evening ritual happens every night but this night was different. Emma was barking and there was a lot of commotion going on in the yard so I decided to check it out. Well, I got sprayed by a skunk. As if that wasn't bad enough... All 5 of us were sprayed by this skunk.

Mommy called for us and and Emma, Moxi and I ran right into the house. We have enough sense to get away from something that stinky. Unfortunately, Abby and Tera did not come in and Mommy had to go out and get them. Oh boy was she mad.

Mommy and Daddy headed to the store to buy some stuff to get rid of the stink. By the time they got back home the smell had filled the house. One by one Mommy took us upstairs, poured this solution on us and gave us all baths. After each bath she cleaned our crate so we had a non-stinky place to sleep. It was after 2am before all the baths were done but the house was already starting to smell better. By morning the stink was completely gone.

The stink was gone but Mommy was still pretty upset with all of us. I tried to be extra nice and extra cute so that she wouldn't be mad any more. Perhaps all she needed was some sleep because today things were back to normal. She even snuggled with me tonight. We snuggled like this for about 10 minutes. I fell asleep in her arms.

I am not sure what it means but I was told that we are all still on probation. I guess forgiven doesn't mean forgotten.

Me and Moo

This is my big Sis, Moxi MooMoo. She and I snuggle when things settle down in the evenings at home. During the day we run and play but nighttime is our time to snuggle.
Just in case you couldn't tell, I am the one on the right. I am almost as tall as Moxi but she about 13 pounds heavier than I am. Moxi is slender but she has filled out through the chest.

Boring Errands & Fun PR

Ugh, I started my day with another bath. Mommy said it was definitely time and she wanted it done before we started running errands. I smell better and I feel better so I guess it was worth a good thing.

Mommy, Daddy and I started our day by going out to brunch at Rudy J's Diner. I met a young lady there that liked me a lot. She would tell me to sit so I would sit. Then she would tell me to down so I would down. Then she would release me so I stood up. Then she would tell me to sit so I would sit. Then she would tell me to down so I would down. Then she would release me. Well, this went on for about 5 minutes and then they were sat at a table.

Then we went to do some shopping. We went shopping at Sam's Club. I like it there but I don't understand why Mommy and Daddy are allowed to enjoy the sample tables and I am not. We met some people who had heard of PAWS before. It is always nice to be able to talk to people and educate them about PAWS but it is also nice to meet people who already know what we are about. These people had nice kids with them and they gave me lots of love. I think kids are my favorite.

The errands trumped the morning plans to go watch some of the Blooperball tournament. I am still hoping for a trip to the tournament either tonight after it cools off or tomorrow before it gets too warm out.
